Trophy Sponsorship

Trophies and Rosettes are very important keepsakes that help to make the the awards we win special and memorable for years to come. I still have the trophy that my dog Joey won for Best of Winners at the 1984 National specialty in North Carolina. It has a chip out of the top, put there by me. I was so excited when I walked out of the ring that I walked right into a pole and chipped the trophy. Looking at it brings back very wonderful memories. Trophies and rosettes are a very large expense for any specialty. The FCRSA National historically offers very lovely rosettes and memorable trophies. We hope this year will be especially well remembered.

In order to offer these lovely prizes we need your donations. You may make your donations in honor of or in the memory of special dogs or special people.

This year we will be accepting sponsorship donations for 4 places in each class in each venue. We will make sure that all of your sponsorships appear prominently in the catalog. Any sponsorships received to late for the catalog will be printed in the newsletter with our many thanks.

The conformation trophies and HIT and HC will be Hand made Ceramic pieces made by Don Goodrich

High in Trial and High Combined trophies will also be made by Don Goodrich
Class placements and special Obedience awards will be hand made leads or training tabs.

For Rally we will have Caps embroidered with the specialty logo in the color of the award.

Best Junior Handler award will be a Chair embroidered with the specialty logo and the words. Best Junior Handler. Class placements......well I haven't for sure decided on these yet.

For agility. First places will be a miniature designs by Dog Dayz. Other awards will be quality dog toys. Why dog toys for agility? Agility has many many classes and it is impossible to know how many entries there will be in which classes in advance. In addition, there are rarely qualifiers in every placement in each class. Yes it would be really nice to have a more personal trophy for agility....but it is really financially impossible to do with out having to purchase a great number of trophies that go unawarded. This is one place where the trophy will be for the true winners of the class...our remarkable dogs. ....may they all take home a fun new toy.

Trophies for singles will be made by Don Goodrich.

There will be lots of different things to take home to use or put on your shelf to admire and remind you of your days at the specialty. I hope you can all enter lots of things, enjoy our specialty, and have lots of fun and success.
